Sciatica is a disease that can affect anyone. This creates an unpleasant sensation and persistent pain, and given this reason you must always have a handy remedy to treat sciatica. And that remedy may consist in a homemade compress made from natural ingredients that will soothe pain immediately.
I will teach you how to prepare a ginger compress to get rid of sciatic pain quickly without being necessary to take painkillers.
Ginger is one of the most used anti-inflammatory plants. Along with sesame oil, which has antioxidant, moisturizing, analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, ginger is an effective remedy in alleviating sciatic pain.
- ½ cup of sesame oil (125 ml)
- a root of ginger
- a small towel
First, heat the sesame oil in the microwave or bain-marie.
Grate the ginger root and mix it with oil.
Soak a small cotton towel in the mixture obtained, and then apply it to the painful area. Leave the compress to act for 20 minutes, and then remove it. You can repeat the procedure again if the pain won’t go away.
