Tangerine Remedy To Reduce Stress And Treat Insomnia Without Sleeping Pills

Insomnia is a sleep disorder and it affects a lot of people lately. This sleeping disorder will reduce the quality and duration of sleep making you wake up with a feeling of fatigue.

There are some pharmaceuticals to fight insomnia, even though many of them cause addiction and it will disturb the balance of the body. When you take sleeping pills frequently you risk in getting addicted and insomnia may become even more severe in the absence of medication.

To avoid side effects and a possible addiction, natural remedies are the best choice.

One of my best friends tried to get rid of insomnia and she resorted all sort of remedies trying to avoid as much as possible any pills or other drugs. Anyhow, she successfully got rid of insomnia with the following tea – this recipe was recommended by a witch-doctor when she travelled in Peru.

Ingredients:

  • a cup of water (250 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of dry chamomile (15g)
  • 1 tablespoon of dry lavender (15g)
  • 1 tablespoon of dry valerian (15 g)
  • the peel of a fresh tangerine

Method of preparation:

Put the water in a pot top boil on medium fire.

When it reaches the boiling point, add all the herbs without the tangerine peel.

Let the herbs to boil for 5 minutes, and then add the tangerine peel, and let it boil for another 5 minutes.

Remove the pot off the fire and strain the infusion in a mug.

Let it cool a bit and consume the hot tea before going to bed.

In a few minutes this tangerine infusion will take effect and you will fall deeply to sleep. Tangerine relieves stress, one of the main causes of insomnia.
