Everyone is looking for all sorts of remedies to get rid of double chin. This problem is not faced only by overweight people, because skinny persons can easily have that small chin attach.
To get rid of the double chin, you have to combine toning exercises with natural treatments.
At least this combination helped me to reduce my double chin. As a skinny girl I can honestly admit that I had 2 chins hanging, but I solved this problem immediately in only 2 months.
1. Lower jaw moves
So, one of the best remedies for double chin is practicing exercises that target the jaw. In this way, you can also treat bruxism (gnashing your teeth).
- Open and close your mouth.
- Move your jaw from one side to the other.
- Move your jaw while pushing your chin in front and then pull it back.
- Make circular movements on both sides.
- Moves your mouth in all sorts of funny positions.
2. Throat moves
The neck is the area where anybody can tell how old you are. If you neglect it, the double chin can develop prematurely. Therefore, you must keep your neck moisturized at all times and do some exercises and stretches to tone it.
You can practice the exercises while lying down, sitting or standing. It’s important to move your throat in all directions. But be careful not to push it too far. If you stay stretched, you will not have this problem.
Repeat the moves gradually. Relax and bend all the muscles.
3. Exfoliation and brushing
To get rid of loose neck skin and the double chin, you need to focus on skin care. Exfoliate this part of the body at least once a week. You can use commercial or home-based ingredients like coffee, salt, sugar or baking soda.
4. Hydration with oils
Once you exfoliate your skin, you need to moisturize it. Don’t forget that many people daily hydrate their complexion forgetting about the neck area.
- ½ cup of almond oil or extravirgin coconut oil
- 15 drops of essential grapefruit oil
- 5 drops of essential lavender oil
- 10 drops of essential rose oil
Method of preparation and application:
Mix all the ingredients first and put the product in a tightly sealed jar.
Apply this homemade lotion twice a day: in the morning, after waking up and in the evening, before bedtime.
5. Clay based mask
To remove the toxins and liquids accumulated under the chin, you can try a clay-based mask. This is effective for the neck and all areas of the body. At the same time, clay offers a rich mineral content.
When preparing the mask, be careful not to use plastic or metal utensils. Instead, choose glass or ceramics. In addition, if you have very dry skin, mix the clay with yogurt, not with water.
