Hydrating Egg Yolk Mix To Get Rid Of Dry Hair And Restore Hair Elasticity

If you struggle with dry hair, you need to keep it hydrated. Various factors, both external such as pollution and internal (stress, nutritional deficiencies) can aggravate the situation. Therefore, you need to find products that nourish your hair in depth and keep it healthy.

It’s hard to get rid of dry hair and I know the struggle! I’m dealing with dry hair for years, well, at least I did, until I found the below natural hair hydrating remedies based on egg yolk.

My hair was greasy at the roots and extremely dried on its length, and I was like…ok, which type of shampoo shall I use? I end-up wondering when my hairstylist recommended the next natural egg yolk combination perfect to get rid of dry hair. Since I’m using this egg-yolk combination, I can say that my hair is silky smooth with no split ends. And as a bonus – no greasy roots anymore.  

Egg Shampoo

You need:

  • 1-2 egg yolks

How to apply:

When shampooing your hair in the shower, apply the yolk to the scalp.

Massage the scalp well and let the shampoo to incorporate with the egg yolk.

Leave the remedy to act for 2 minutes.

Rinse your hair as usual.

Egg yolk and vinegar hair conditioner


  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon of apple vinegar

If you want, you can add a few drops of essential oil like lavender, oranges, mint, rosemary, etc.


Mix the ingredients with a fork.

Prepare the remedy before using it.

After shampooing, apply this natural conditioner, covering the entire surface of your hair.

Let it take effect for 2 to 5 minutes, and then rinse.

Egg yolk, olive oil and lemon hair mask

After shampooing and applying the hair conditioner, use the following hair mask 2 times a week.


  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice


Mix the above ingredients well.

Apply the mixture all over your hair by massaging gently your scalp.

Cover your head with a shower cap, and then put a towel over it.

Let the treatment to act for half an hour. If you want, you can leave it overnight.

At the end, rinse your hair as usual.
